In November 2016 TDL Energie’s tender for a reverse osmosis plant with a cleaning capacity of 100 m³/d for Maliq landfill in Albania was accepted.

Albania has been an EU candidate since 2014. The German federal government promotes the approximation of EU standards in the country and is active in environmental and climate protection. The KfW development bank is mostly involved in the energy sector and municipal infrastructure. In the course of this involvement the bank finances a variety of projects.
TDL Energie secured the contract for the construction, transport and installation on site in a European tender that is part of the KfW development programme. The installation on site takes place in March 2017.

Following the commissioning TDL Energie will continue to provide maintenance for the RO plant and training for personnel on site within the framework of a service agreement.
