At the end of May, TDL Energie has been awarded the contract for leachate treatment at the Scheinberg landfill site.
TDL won the public tender of the district of Lörrach, and will take over the operational management of the site's leachate treatment plant on 01.11.2015.
The plant was remodeled in 2013, and now consists of a single-stage biological process with upstream denitrification, backflushable ultrafiltration for low-energy operation, and a downstream activated carbon stage. Two additional activated carbon canisters provide a bypass for the partial treatment of peak quantities of leachate.
Applying different business models, TDL Energie is currently managing 28 leachate and landfill gas technology projects in Germany.
