In March, the contract to operate the gas utilization plant at the Burg landfill site was awarded to TDL Energie.
Within a classic service provision framework, the gas utilization plant had been installed, and successfully operated since then. The landfill gas provided by the contractor is utilized with a power output of 160 kWel. Since commissioning at the beginning of April, an availability of approx. 95% has been achieved.
Due to the decreasing amounts of gas at German landfill sites, the existing plant technology has to be adapted in regards to the gas engine utilization.
In regards to maintenance and service of our contracting arrangements, we have a large pool of gas utilization plants at our disposal so as to adapt to changing conditions.
