TDL Energie GmbH has been awarded the contract for the supply of a 2-stage reverse osmosis plant for the treatment of industrial wastewater (water reuse)

Reverse Osmosis

TDL Energie GmbH has been awarded the contract for the construction and commissioning of a 250 m³/d reverse osmosis plant designed for the treatment of wastewater which will be used to return the purified water into the production processes of a company in the food industry.

During the production process, various wastewater flows occur. Thanks to the new 250 m³/d reverse osmosis plant, the withdrawal of groundwater during the production process can be reduced significantly because the treated wastewater can be reused in the process!

By means of a mobile test plant that has been previously installed on site by TDL Energie GmbH, various wastewater flows were determined and treated over a period of several months. As a result, it was possible to ensure that the wastewater was suitable for being treated by means of a 2-stage reverse osmosis plant and that the purified water can be returned to the production process.

The RO plant will also enable the treatment of higher wastewater volumes in the future.

TDL Energie GmbH will manufacture the 2-stage reverse osmosis plant as a modular skid unit which, thanks to its compact design, can be easily integrated into existing plant environments.

The new reverse osmosis plant will be completed and commissioned in early 2023.
