Together with a Ukrainian partner company, TDL Energie commissioned a containerised Reverse Osmosis plant for landfill leachate treatment at the city of Lutsk's landfill site in Ukraine at the beginning of June 2024.
The two-stage RO plant can treat up to 50 m3/d of the leachate produced using wound module membranes with wide spacers. The leachate is treated and discharged in accordance with regional regulations.
For the first time, TDL Energie has installed this new compact system type with a treatment capacity of 20 - 60 m3/d for leachate treatment in an insulated 20' container, which is characterised by a special design so that no leachate or chemicals can escape during operation.
This smaller plant type also has the proven and convenient design of a separate control room, in which the modern, highly automated switchgear is installed, and a machine room, in which the plant technology is housed.
The operation of the system is monitored by remote control support.
This means that TDL Energie has already realised a second containerised RO system at a landfill site in Ukraine.
